Kickstart your morning!
We will host GRINDfest on June 18th-20th, our celebration of Black Business and Entrepreneurship. Conveniently located in the River Arts District, we will have a weekend full of fun and learning: "Savagery" (the play), a poetry slam, local storytellers, game tournaments, a lip sync battle, vendors selling unique items, Black food from around the world and an outside dance party with local DJ's. This event promises to be one of the most fun and enlightening of the year.
GRINDfest will bring people together to celebrate Black Business and Black Entrepreneurs. It will highlight the progress made by people of color while also connecting people across cultures.

"More Than Just Coffee”
Coffee is our unifier to start, grow, and support businesses, owners, and networks to build black wall street.
Black Wall Street Still Lives, It’s a statement of belief in an inclusive ecosystem open to anyone. It speaks to our American values of diversity and equity in the business.
They tried to remove it from the history books. But it didn’t work. They deleted the newspaper article that sparked the riot that killed 300 Black people and burned 8000 of their homes from the archives. It was the first time that an American city was bombed and it didn’t come from foreign enemies. It was our own National Guard that showed up to bomb Tulsa’s Black Business District after a black teenage boy mistakingly stepped on the shoe of a white teenage girl and accused him of rape. Local white Tulsans were deputized and given guns by city officials. Regional hysteria grew. By 9 am thousands of white citizens poured into the Black Business District to destroy 35 blocks of Black-Owned businesses and homes.
The momentum gained by these Black people since slavery had become an offense to some people. Consequently, they tried to destroy the Black entrepreneurial energy.
In honor of the people who were killed, the properties that were burned, and the Black Businesses that became the target of hatred and violence, we declare that Black Wall Street Still Lives, It’s a statement of belief in an inclusive ecosystem open to anyone. It speaks to our American values of diversity and equity in the business. This is not just an object. It is a walking billboard that honors the resilience of those who, against all odds, will never be forgotten. It is today’s human echo coming from all walks of life stating “Black Wall Street Still Lives.” And it will never be erased from our minds, our communities, our hearts, or yours.
